Hole geometry is very quickly updated using drop-down menus to select any API standard drill pipe or Casing. For any non-standard pipe the data may be manually entered.
This program was written by a Mud Engineer for Mud Engineers and is complete and easy to use. One can count sacks, complete the mud check, and in less than 5 minutes be printing the daily mud report.
Prints out a daily mud report that not only meets API specifications but much more on a letter size piece of paper. It includes all solids calculations, Volume accounting, and inventory of 28 mud products.
In Addition to the Daily Mud Report the program calculates Spotting Oil, Well Control schedule, Hydraulics, and an abbreviated form containing only pertinent data that can be printed for the Company Representative.
It is the only mud program that calculates the Carrying Capacity Index (CCI) of the drilling fluid under the present hole geometry and pump rate. It is a calculation of hole cleaning ability and a CCI index of 0.5 or higher is needed for a vertical hole and an index of 1.0 or better is needed for a horizontal hole.
